A portuguese friend of mine organised a daytrip to the beautiful national park Gerês. Around 30 students left Porto around 9am and joined the trip into the nature. It's located in the north of Portugal next to the boarder of Spain. It was around 30 degrees and everyone brought also the clothes for swimming. Our portuguese common friend guided us through the paths consist of woods, stones and river water that sometimes lead to a waterfall where you can take a bath. It's a lot of nature and you can hike the paths available or try to climb through the woods - on your own risk of course.
You have incredible viewing plattforms where you might try to stop time. Maybe you should consider to rent a car and take your best friends and a tent and stay there for two or three days to get off the city life.
