One of the coolest spots to visit if you are already in Lissabon is Sintra and its' castle and parks. Maybe you go there by car or train but as I would recommend, take some time with you. As we arrived there we went to the tourism office to get known where to go and to know where all the things are. Because Sintra is just the start and it is actually a wide area with a lot of monuments.

For the entrance of the Castle of Pena we paid 10.50€ for the terrace of the castle and the parque. It's reasonable because the park itselft is huge and you might climb the stones with the statue on top, which you can see from the castle or just by walking through the park. Just enjoy the time you have. Because it really feels surreal.
