Especially in the days you are taking part in the Erasmus program, you are curious about the power and the budget distribution by the local Erasmus Association.

Sure the money went mainly into events and parties and I didn’t want to change that fact as a student. But if I hear the number of 0,25% of 100.000€… and this should be the budget for social activities, I really wanted to know, what they did with the 100.000€ they receive from the fond.

After talking with some people inside the ESN and after joining several events beside the all the ESN parties I've been to, the budget was increased in several points:

1. Porto achieves more money from the Erasmus fond by becoming more and more popular as a student's exchange destiny

2. the social budget was several times multipled so I'm seeing that there are some people carrying about giving more attention to the city's social problems where students can participate to solve
