Museu d'avo

MUSEU D’AVO may be translated as the „museum of the grandmother“. That’s exactly how it looks like when you enter the restaurant. Located in Cedofeita you do have to walk with wide opened eyes to find the entrance. And don’t forget to do a reservation in the first place if you wanna go during the rush hour (10pm).

The ambiance is super cozy due to the candlelights. In the winter nights it gets a bit cold inside, because of the radiation of the stone walls. But it becomes warm as soon as the burning „chorizos“ are served. It’s a spiced and tasty sausage what is served as a typical portuguese starter. A list with 20 different portuguese dishes was provided and you choosed the quantity of each tapas. It’s amazing to go in groups with 4 or more people so you can share the different flavors. In conclusion it’s the best opportunity to show friends the variety of portuguese food for a reasonable price (around 15€ for some starters, three main-tapas, white sangria and a coffee).
