Laura and the owners of the SURFING LIFE CLUB create a weekly event for travelers and Erasmus students. The perfect activity to start the week after a hangover weekend. Go to the beach, talk to Mafra (who is the man in charge for everything) and his awesome crew and get ready for catching some nice waves. Laura is the small spanish girl with dark hair. You will quickly recognize her. Most of the advanced surfer from abroad I know go there. It’s a family, that’s what it becomes with the time of your Life in Porto. Don’t get confused about the many Antonio(s) who work there. To be honest it’s much easier to remember in the beginning.

Furthermore you might also park your board there. Especially if you don’t live close to the beach and you don’t want to carry your board home each time.

And what other people told me who had been participating in the ESN-Surflessons, is that they had to pay a small amount of money, but their dates for the lessons were fixed. So if there are no waves that day you will still have the lesson, you will just paddle in the sea and lose your money at the same time. In my opinion that’s not a fair service, because if I pay for something I also wanna receive the product or the service I’m paying for. Nevertheless you have an amount and a group of other Erasmus fellows to join you for surfing, so for beginning it's also not too bad.

That’s one more reason why you should consider about taking some lessons in the SURFING LIFE CLUB and move on to the next level of surfing. Hang loose and see you in the water.
