On the last day of my friends’ journey to Porto, I guided them to a place called „Brick Clerigos“. It’s definitely one of my new favourite spots around Porto. Their idea is simple and familiar. Inside you find a huge dinning table for maybe 20 people. All guests sit at that table and enjoy their food and have a talk. Like a big family. Surrounded by things you need in a kitchen. Behind the one shelf „mama“ is cooking, that’s what you actually think in the first place. Ok, the real chefs behind the shelf have reached a master level I do really have to confess. The creation and the taste are magnificant. Dishes are for example „mango-shrimp-sandwich“ or a „smoked salmon wrap“. The prices are a little less than 10€ but fully worth it. I’m a supporter of quality food so go for it.
