As a citizen of Berlin, one of the capitals for vegetarian and vegan culture, I got convinced about thinking of my behavior with food. Although I’m no vegetarian nor vegan I support the effort to enlighten the Human Society to give more attention to their consummation behavior.

CONGRATULATION TO THE VEGANS

So I decided to take part at the event “take away love” in front of the entrance to the Bom Sucesso market. The main idea was to offer vegan food for free to the public. Under a tent there were representatives of several Portuguese groups like Porto Pelos Animais, PAN, Associação Vegetariana Portuguesa, Omeletas Sem Ovos and Capuchinho Verde. In front of the public they prepared little vegan snacks and provided simple recipes to the people. One highlight was the marinated shiitake mushrooms served on bread with arugula salad.

After all and with all my respect I want you to put your hands up for vegans fighting for a better world.
